ECC Summer Camp 2022

Monday, June 13 – Friday, August 5, 2022*
*Closed on Monday, July 4th

Please join us for a wonderful summer adventure at Camp Gan Elohim 2022!

We are offering 8 one-week themed sessions from Monday, June 13th through Friday, August 5th (closed on Monday, July 4th). Your children will experience summer fun under the care of our skilled and dedicated teachers. 

Camp Hours:
· Drop off: 7:30 a.m. (early care) or 9:00 a.m.
· Core program: 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
· Late Care: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. with pick-up options at 3:30 or 5:00 p.m.

Summer camp registration in advance is required. Drop-ins will only be available if we have we have appropriate teacher/student ratio. Missed classes may NOT be credited. Make-ups will be permitted if space allows. Priority enrollment is given to TAE partners and currently enrolled students and their siblings. Families must be current in their payments to Temple Adat Elohim.

To ensure camp is staffed appropriately and ensure a spot in our camp, please complete your registration by Friday, May 13th. If you decide to enroll your child after May 13th, your child may be placed on a waitlist to ensure we can staff camp to safely accommodate the additional student. Further, we anticipate full enrollment; however, a minimum of 10 children must be enrolled, or camp will be canceled.

Camp Admissions Agreement

THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA LICENSING REQUIREMENTS STATE THAT WE MUST HAVE AN ADMISSIONS AGREEMENT WITH ALL CLIENTS OF OUR SCHOOL


Admission shall be granted without discrimination with regard to religion, race, or color. Our school is licensed by the State of California who requires us to fulfill their guidelines. Our teachers meet the standards of State Licensing as well as NAEYC and BJE accreditation standards.


School Tuition: Schedule options are subject to change. Must be reviewed prior to submitting the enrollment form and signing the admissions agreement.


Additional fees: Registration fee: $185; New student emergency fee $20; Partner security fee $650; Non-Partner security fee $750


Partner rates apply ONLY to Temple Adat Elohim Members who are current in their dues and fees.


Payment must be received by the first day of each session.


NO REFUND OR CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR ABSENCES or ANY SCHOOL/CAMP CLOSURE.


THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT TO BE INCLUDED ON ALL ADMISSION AGREEMENTS.


The Department of Social Services, our licensing agency, shall have the inspection authority in regards to specified Health and Safety Codes.


The Department of Social Services shall have the authority to interview clients, including children or staff, and to inspect and audit client or facility records without prior consent. The licensee shall make provisions for private interviews with any clients, including children or staff members, and for the examination of all records relating to the operation of the facility.


The Department of Social Services shall have the authority to observe the physical condition of the client, including conditions which could indicate abuse, neglect, or inappropriate placement, and to have a licensed medical professional physically examine the client.


SCHOOL INFORMATION


Food/Drink: For the safety of all children, NO peanuts or tree nuts are permitted. Food items that are “processed in a facility” with peanuts and/or tree nuts are allowed. In compliance with TAE’s kashrut (food laws) policy, please do not send shellfish or pork to school.) Please send a morning snack to school every day. This can be a part of your child’s lunch, or in a separately marked bag. If your child will attend late care, please send an extra afternoon snack. You may send a packed lunchbox to school with your child each day for lunch OR use our lunch delivery option. We find this helps prevent allergic reactions and maintains the nutritional choice for each family. Please send a filled water bottle to school every day with a NONEXPOSED straw (remember to label), and any prepared bottles/formula/foods/etc., your child will need while in our care.


Diapering: If your child is not potty trained or wears diapers for naps, please send diapers, wipes, and a box of non-latex, medium-sized gloves (remember to label the packages)


Extra Clothes: Please send an extra change of clothes in a Ziploc bag, for various weather conditions, including socks, underwear (if they are potty trained), jackets, etc. to store in your child’s cubby (remember to label).


ECC Nappers: If your child (over 18 months+) will be napping during late care, please provide either a crib sized sheet and light blanket, or a nap mat with attached pillow/blanket to cover our nap mats, and any special “lovey” or security item, that your child likes to sleep with.


Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures: We are staffed accordingly to stay in legal teacher:student ratio for our early care and late care programs, based off of the number of students we have signed up, so we appreciate you sticking to your scheduled hours. We understand that unforeseen circumstances and emergencies may come up, so please keep us in the loop if you will be late for pick-up, so we can ensure we have appropriate staffing at all times. If you need to pick-up your child at an off-time, please notify your child’s teacher via Brightwheel so they can arrange a plan with you. Thank you for your understanding, in our best efforts to keep the students’ safety our top priority.



       
  • If your child attends Early Care, please bring your child and their belongings to their class no earlier than 7:25am.

  • If your child is scheduled to begin school at 9:00am, please bring to your child to their classroom no earlier than 8:50am.

  •    
  • If you are signed up for a 1:00pm or 3:30pm pick-up, please be prompt in picking up your child

  •    
  • Pick-up will be in the classrooms on rainy days.

  •    
  • If you are signed up for a 6:00pm pick-up, please pick-up anytime between 3:30pm-6:00pm the latest.


Late pick up after 6 p.m. will be charged $20.00 flat fee plus $5.00 per 15 minutes.


The school separation policy requires a parent to be available for pick up as needed. All changes in home or work phone numbers must be reported to the office immediately so parents can be reached in case of an emergency.   


BIRTHDAYS/SPECIAL EVENTS: For special events, celebrations, or birthdays, parents can select from an approved list of snacks for the children HERE, and coordinate with your teacher for a day to come in and celebrate.


ALLERGIES/MEDICAL CONDITIONS: If your child has allergies, asthma, or a medical condition, please make sure you have filled out the applicable Health Forms. We will be posting a notice on the wall of each class (unless you opted out), so all staff are aware, in order to keep your child safe.


MEDICATIONS: DO NOT send medications, hand sanitizers, vitamins, cough drops, herbal remedies, creams/lotions/ointments, etc., to school with your child, or in their lunchbox/backpack. If needed, any medication should be kept with the teachers in the classroom or the ECC director’s office, in their original packaging, labeled with your child’s name, accompanied by a doctor’s instructions or notes, and a PARENT CONSENT FOR ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATIONS (LIC 9221) form.


HEALTH and WELLNESS: We thank you for partnering with us to keep the students, staff, and families, health and safety a priority, by keeping your child home from school if they are experiencing flu or cold-like symptoms. To keep the spread of communicable disease to a minimum, and to protect your child, as well as others, please notify the ECC office immediately if your child exhibits any of the below, contracts a communicable disease, or your family is exposed to someone with COVID-19.  A note from your doctor that your child is no longer contagious, and are cleared to return to school, may be necessary. Your child cannot be at school with any of the following symptoms:


·        Children who have fevers, but are Covid negative, must stay home until fever-free and symptom-free (without medication) for 24 hours. Please keep us informed.


·         Children who have diarrhea or vomiting must stay home until symptom-free (without medication) for 24 hours. Please keep us informed.


·         Children who have symptoms such as a heavy or green nasal discharge, constant cough, earache, sore throat, GI issues/abdominal pains, rash/soars, red irritated eyes with discharge, illness, infection, or symptoms of a possible communicable disease that prevents the child from participating in program activities, should not be sent to school until they are completely symptom free, or you have a doctor's note that the child is not contagious and can be in school.


·         If your child becomes ill during the school day, we will ask that you get them within 30 minutes of being notified to pick your child up.


·         Students who test positive for COVID, must quarantine for 5-days, and can return to school after that time, with no symptoms and wear a mask for days 6-10. If you choose not to test your child, or they are unable or too young to wear a mask, they can return after a 10-day quarantine.


Health Policies are subject to change. Must be reviewed prior to submitting the enrollment form and signing the admissions agreement.


In the event that a child becomes ill at school, parents must pick up their child within 30 minutes of being notified by the school.


All documents (enrollment forms, immunization record, state required forms, emergency contacts/authorized pick-ups, payment Option, etc.) must be completed before your child can be admitted to school.


A new agreement will be issued if modifications to the original agreement are necessary


FORCE MAJEURE:  Should events beyond the control of TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM, including, but not limited to, any fire, act of God, hurricane, tornado, flood, extreme inclement weather, explosion, war (including armed conflict), governmental action, act of terrorism, risk of infectious disease, epidemic, pandemic, shortage or disruption of necessary utilities (water, electricity, etc.), or any other event beyond TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM’s control, occur, TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM has the discretion to close TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM and/or modify its curriculum, schedules, length of school day, length of school year, and/or means of learning and teaching methods.  Should TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM close, TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM’s duties and obligations under this contract shall be suspended immediately without notice until such time as TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM, in its sole and reasonable discretion, may safely reopen.  If TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM cannot reopen due to a force majeure event under this Paragraph, TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM is under no obligation to refund any portion of any fees, deposits, or other amounts paid. In the event that there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 case among the children or staff, and your class or the school needs to close for up to fourteen days tuition will not be refunded. In the event that TEMPLE ADAT ELOHIM we be closed more than 14 days, tuition will be adjusted based on the educational model the school can provide the children. A new agreement will be issued if modifications to the original agreement are necessary


Entering your name in the space provided, indicates that you have read, understand, and agree with the Temple Adat Elohim's 2022-2023 Admissions Agreement and have reviewed a copy of the Temple Adat Elohim Early Childhood Center Parent Handbook. I understand that it contains important information on the ECC’s policies. I/We agree to follow the policies and regulations contained herein and have had the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the material stated herein. By typing your name, you are signing this Admissions Agreement electronically.


 

 

COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited or limited the congregation of groups of people.

 

Temple Adat Elohim has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, TAE cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending TAE or TAE-related activities could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.

 

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending TAE or TAE-related activities and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at TAE or TAE-related activities may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, TAE employees, volunteers, and TAE-related activity participants and their families.

 

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at TAE or participation in TAE-related activities (“Claims”). On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless TAE, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of TAE, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any TAE-related activity.
